The large replacement pad is equal to more than 20 three inch conventional paint brushes combined. The Easi-Paint high quality dover bristles called "Flock" sit on top of a high density foam suspension layer to allow for non-flat surfaces and uneven application pressure.

Should I Keep a Spare Set of Painting Pads?

Even if your original paint pads are still in good condition it's good policy to have a spare set. It also makes changing colours easier during a DIY painting job; while the pad you've been using is cleaning itself by soaking face down in a bucket of warm water, just clip in your spare pad and carry on painting without having to stop. Don't throw out your worn pads - they will still do a good job on very rough surfaces like render and painting preparation jobs like applying sugar soap.
